No civilized country can be imagined without a well-developed network of roads and railways. It is therefore natural that, with Bukovyna's incorporation into the Austrian Empire, the government's primary attention was given to the construction and development of roads in the region.
Among the artifacts discovered at the burial ground near Oselivka village, a ritually bent into a circle sword, found during excavations in 1977, draws particular attention.
On September 12, 1683, under the walls of the Austrian capital, the last of the most grandiose battles between Christian Europe and the Muslim East took place – the Battle of Vienna.
