The exhibition tells the story of the folk way of life and traditional crafts of Northern Bukovina in the interwar period.

The division into male and female spheres of labor remained traditional.

The range of domestic duties of a woman-housewife is represented by crockery, millstones, flax brakes, spindles, a loom (krosna), samples of embroidered clothing, ornaments, carpets, etc. A special place in the exhibition is occupied by women's clothing from the collection of the famous collector Ivan Snihur.

Traditional male crafts (woodworking, pottery, blacksmithing, fishing, sheep breeding, wicker weaving, horn processing, beekeeping, leather processing) are represented by a number of exhibits: wooden and clay crockery, samples of beehives, a fishing boat, leather footwear and clothing items, musical instruments, craft tools and equipment.

A special place among the exhibited works is occupied by wicker products by the renowned wicker master Ivan Snihur, which he donated to our museum.
