To mark the Day of Interethnic Harmony and Cultural Diversity, 19 May at 4:00 PM, we invite you to the Chernivtsi Regional Museum for the opening of the «Rescued Heritage» exhibition – an exhibition of augmented miniature copies of traditional folk costumes from Novoaidarshchyna from the late 19th – early 20th century from the Local History Museum of Novoaidar Village Council collections.

This is not just an exhibition – it's a living memory of Luhanshchyna's culture, recreated in traditional garments, ornaments, and jewelry.

The costumes and authentic jewelry were sewn by Odarka Kucheryava – the founder and head of the NGO «Embroidered Wonderwork» «Embroidered Wonderwork» Public Organisation..

The event program includes:

-          a virtual tour of Luhanshchyna

-          a fashion show of traditional costumes

-          a master class from blogger and Ukrainian culture expert Diana Antonyak
«How to tie a headscarf in Luhanshchyna»

-          a story about traditional Ukrainian wreaths from Khrystyna Semenko, member of the Union of Folk Art Masters Khrystyna Semenko

All attendees will be able to participate in the master class and take photos as a souvenir at the themed photo zone.
