For information security purposes, this site may record the IP addresses of visitors to certain pages, technical characteristics of their device and browser, and publicly available information about the IP address. The data is kept for up to 12 months and is not shared with third parties except as required by law.

What may be recorded

• the IP address the page was opened from, the time of the visit and the address of the page;
• the page the visitor came from and the parameters of the link;
• technical characteristics of the device and browser: browser and operating system, device model, screen size, time zone, languages, graphics adapter, a random identifier stored in the browser and a summary of these characteristics;
• how long the page was viewed and how far it was scrolled;
• publicly available information about the IP address: country and city, network provider and owner, whether the address belongs to a VPN, proxy, Tor or hosting network, and public reputation records.

Purpose and retention

The data is used only to ensure the information security of the site and of the museum. It is kept for up to 12 months and then deleted automatically.
