On October 17 at 3:30 PM, the Chernivtsi Regional Museum of Local Lore will host the opening of the exhibition «Born from the Flames», dedicated to Ukrainian military personnel, volunteers, and medics.

The exhibition continues its journey across Ukraine, and Chernivtsi will be the fifth city to host «Born from the Flames» with the production support of Volodymyr Nechyporuk  and Iryna Soloshenko.

At first glance, ordinary things eloquently speak of the fight for freedom in the Russian-Ukrainian war. At the exhibition, you will see a manuscript by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (2021–2024) Valerii Zaluzhnyi, honorary medals and awards of Ukrainian soldiers, shell fragments, drawings, and other artifacts.

Portraits of 23 heroes of the exhibition were created by Mina Sorvino specifically for the artbook of the same name. The project's heroes include renowned defenders, among them Hero of Ukraine, pilot Vadym Voroshylov «Karaya», Davyd Kasatkin «Khimik», Yuliia Paievska «Taira», Tata Kepler, and Leonid Ostaltsev.

A charity auction will be held at the opening to raise funds for the mobile evacuation needs of the wounded.

The solemn opening will be attended by:

–  Volodymyr Nechyporuk, co-producer of the project;

– Olha Salo, Deputy General Director for Development and Cultural and Educational Work of the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity.

The exhibition «Born from the Flames» will run in Chernivtsi  until December 1, 2024. Admission is free.
