A thematic
tour-overview of the exhibition, dedicated to the Ukrainian people's struggle for
statehood, territorial integrity, and freedom throughout the 20th century. The focus
is on the key moments of the Ukrainian liberation struggle: the period of liberation
struggles 1917-1921 (creation of the Ukrainian People's Republic (UNR), West Ukrainian
People's Republic (ZUNR), Bukovinian People's Assembly, Unification Act), the formation
and activities of OUN and UPA for the restoration of Ukrainian statehood and
unity in the 1930s-1940s of the 20th century, the restoration of Ukraine's
independence in 1991, the events of the Revolution of Dignity, the Russian armed
aggression against Ukraine and the selfless struggle of Ukrainian men and women
for the preservation of territorial integrity, sovereignty, freedom, and the
future of the Ukrainian state.
The thematic tour is designed for school-aged children and adults interested
in the history of Ukraine and our region.
