The land of Bukovina is generously covered with snow. Inquisitive trackers can confidently set off in search of animal tracks on the white powder.

But before that – visit the Regional Museum to gain the necessary knowledge on an interactive excursion for recognising birds and animals by their paw prints!
During the
excursion, children will learn:

about how different animals adapt to winter conditions;

how to distinguish the tracks of even-toed ungulates – roe deer, wild boar, and red deer;

how to recognise the tracks of predatory animals: from the smallest representative – the weasel – to the giant bear;

why bear tracks can be found in winter and what to do if you encounter them;

why swans have webbed feet between their toes
The "Tracks in the Snow" excursion is suitable for children aged 5 to 12.
Off to exciting winter adventures together with the Regional Museum!
