January 19 marks 85 years since the birth of the Ukrainian poet, prose writer, and journalist Vitaliy Kolodiy (1939-2016). For a long time, V. Kolodiy lived and worked in Chernivtsi. He was the head of the culture department of the newspaper "Radianska Bukovyna", one of the founders of the newspaper "Molodyi Bukovynets", and initiated the periodicals "Bukovynske Viche" and "Literary and Artistic Bukovyna". From 1992 to 1996, he was the director of the Museum of Bukovynian Diaspora. For about 20 years, he headed the Chernivtsi Regional Organization of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine.
The exhibition "A Glimpse Beyond the Visible Edge" introduces the life and work of Vitaliy Kolodiy.
