The first spring flowers already welcome us with the arrival of warm and sunny days. You have probably already noticed them – in flower beds outside buildings, on garden plots, or in the city's parks and squares – coltsfoot, primrose, snowdrop or crocus… Delicate, yet surprisingly resilient flowers that appear as soon as spring begins.

These plants are the focus of the traveling exhibition «First Flowers of Bukovyna» at the Chernivtsi Regional Museum of Local Lore. It introduces the diversity of early spring species, reveals their mysterious power, and also explains their extreme vulnerability and need for protection.

The exhibition will run from 12 March to 1 April.
