84
photographs from the exhibition 'Indomitability in Focus' – selected from countless
poignant shots depicting the tireless and courageous work of servicemen and women,
State Emergency Service rescuers, National Police officers, medics, and volunteers
since the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation. Viewing
the photo exhibition, one can see how emotions of pain and despair transform into
courage, unity, camaraderie, love, hope, and a thirst for life.
During the exhibition's presentation at the Chernivtsi Regional Museum of Local Lore, Viktor Hryha, a combat veteran, deputy of the Dniester District Council of Chernivtsi Oblast, and specialist of the Reforms Support and Local Programs Audit Department of the Chernivtsi Oblast Council, emphasized that the presented exhibition serves as a reminder of the high price paid for peace in the rear.
Lieutenant Colonel Ruslan Nezdolii of the Civil Protection
Service, Deputy Head of the Pyrotechnic Works Group of the Special Purpose
Emergency Rescue Detachment of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine's Main
Directorate in Chernivtsi Oblast, also delivered a welcoming speech. He, along
with his colleague, shared their personal memories of participating in demining
liberated territories – including in Donetsk Oblast.
Chernivtsi has become the sixth city in Ukraine where Donetsk Regional Museum of Local Lore presented the exhibition. Academic Secretary Oksana Muravska conducted a curator's tour for visitors, revealing the difficult stories behind the moments captured in the photographs.
The impressions of the exhibition from the guests present at the
presentation were, as always, skillfully conveyed by musician Dania Graf, who
performed the popular songs 'Obiimy' (Embrace) and 'Voiny Svitla' (Warriors of
Light).
We invite you to visit the exhibition 'Indomitability in Focus', which will run at #ChOKM until April 30! Admission to the exhibition is free.
