On May 8th, on International Museum Day, the Chernivtsi Regional Museum of Local Lore cordially invites Chernivtsi residents and guests of the city to spend this day together in an atmosphere of discoveries, lively communication, and love for our native history.

The day's programme includes:

-          Open Day.

On this day, the Chernivtsi Regional Museum of Local Lore and its branches cordially open their doors to everyone. This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of history, culture, and museum treasures, to experience the atmosphere of the past, and to rediscover Bukovyna.

-          Opening of the archaeological artefacts exhibition "The Path to the Museum" (Chernivtsi Regional Museum of Local Lore, starts at 15:00).

The exhibition will present unique archaeological finds that have travelled their special journey – from the earth and time to the museum collection. This is an opportunity to touch the past and see history through artefacts.

-          Presentation of the tenth anniversary issue of the "Chernivtsi Regional Museum of Local Lore Yearbook" (Chernivtsi Regional Museum of Local Lore, starts at 16:00).

This anniversary edition brings together scholarly research, local history explorations, and materials dedicated to the history and cultural heritage of Bukovyna.
