On February 19, 2024, to mark the Day of the State Emblem of Ukraine, the Chernivtsi Regional Museum of Local Lore and the Oleksandra Manisku Art Space held a master class titled ‘Symbol of Our Unity’.
The main theme of the master class was, of course, the tryzub, which today is not just the main attribute of state symbols for us, but also embodies the solidarity and unity of all Ukrainians in their resistance against Russian aggression, and is a symbol that connects us with past generations who fought for Ukrainian statehood.
With the support of the International Organization for Migration, internally displaced persons currently residing in Chernivtsi attended the master class. We invited each participant to draw their own floral version of the tryzub. With the hope that the Ukrainian Spring will come for all of us, and good will overcome evil…
