Mother's Day is celebrated all over the world. It's another occasion to tell mum that she is the closest and dearest person in your life. The main tradition of this holiday is to sincerely congratulate mum. In Ukraine, this holiday, as in many other countries, is celebrated on the second Sunday of May. This year, Mother's Day falls on May 12th.

On the eve of the holiday, May 10th, a workshop on making Mother's Day cards took place at the Chernivtsi Regional Museum of Local Lore for the pupils of the senior group of Preschool Education Institution №12 "Suzirya" (Chernivtsi).

The children were told about the traditions of the holiday, participated in a quiz, and enthusiastically set about making cards from paper and plasticine. The workshop for the children was conducted by researchers from #CRMLM Tetiana Minaieva and Mariia Ungurian. The little ones had fun and enjoyed creating, and each left the museum in high spirits with a handmade card to give to their mum.
