In everyone's life, there are people who, no matter where they work or what they do, are always the heart and soul of the matter. They fill human existence with meaning, encourage colleagues to creative activity, inspire everyone around them, and leave an unforgettable mark on the souls of all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with them. Yevdokia Ivanivna Antoniuk-Havryshchuk was exactly such a person, who for many years was the heart of the team, completely devoted herself to her work, and led others.

For many years, she was the true soul of museum work in Bukovyna. Yevdokia Ivanivna dedicated most of her life to the Chernivtsi Regional Museum of Local Lore, where she worked in various structural divisions: from 1974, she headed the scientific and methodological department for the activities of public museums; from 1985–1989, she served as the Deputy Director of the museum for scientific work; and from 1989, she returned to the position of head of the scientific and methodological department.

It is worth noting that although most of Yevdokia Ivanivna's life and professional activity was connected with her work at #ChOKM, she is also known and remembered far beyond its walls. In particular, Ye.I. Antoniuk-Havryshchuk made significant efforts to create an entire network (more than 100) of public museums in the region, including the museums of Heorhiy Haras, Nazariy Yaremchuk, Ivan Mykolaychuk, the Rusnak brothers, Mykhailo Tkach, and a number of others.

On April 5, 2024, a memorial evening was held at the Chernivtsi Regional Museum of Local Lore to mark Yevdokia Ivanivna's 80th birthday. The event was attended by her colleagues, friends, acquaintances, and also those who know, remember, and love this incredible woman. Those present were able to pay tribute to her memory and share their personal recollections of her life and dedicated professional activity.
